To ensure safe and enjoyable use of candles, it's important to follow a few simple safety precautions. Always keep candles away from flammable materials, such as curtains, paper, or furniture. When lighting candles, ensure they are placed on a stable heat resistant surface or candle holder where they cannot be knocked over. Never leave burning candles unattended, and keep them out of reach from children and pets. Additionally when the wick of the candle has burned down to about 1/2" inch from the bottom, it is time to discard the candle to prevent any potential damage that could be caused if the flame contacts the bottom of the glass.

How to Trim the Wick
Trim the wick with wick trimmers or scissors to approximantely 1/4"inch before each burn. Not trimming the wick each time can result in tunneling of your candle and black soot appearing on the jar. It's important to trim the wick for an even cleaner burn each time. We suggest burning you candle for at least 2 hours on your initial burn.
Candle Care Tips
To keep your soy wax candles in tip-top condition, it's important to store them properly. Find a cool, dry spot out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources. Excessive heat can cause the candles to melt or become misshapen, while exposure to sunlight can cause the color and scent to fade. Avoid storing candles in humid areas or places with drafts. Exposure to moisture can cause the candles to sweat or become discolored. Always keep candles upright to prevent wax from settling. If the candles are stored on their sides or upside down, the wax may shift and create an uneven burn. With a little care, your soy wax candles will burn even and stay fragrant for longer!
